Our Story
Ulka Jewells began with a simple belief: that fine jewellery should feel personal. Not something chosen off a shelf in a hurry, but a piece that means something — worn on an ordinary Tuesday, or on the day you'll remember for the rest of your life.
We set out to create jewellery that sits at the meeting point of timeless craftsmanship and modern, wearable design — pieces rooted in traditional goldsmithing, shaped for how women actually live and dress today. Every design starts with a question: will this be loved not just today, but for years to come? If the answer isn't yes, it doesn't leave our studio.
Our Small, Intentional Team
We're a small, close-knit team, and we stay intentional about how we grow. The largest share of what we invest goes into sourcing quality metals and gemstones, and into fairly compensating the skilled goldsmiths and artisans, our karigars, who bring each design to life by hand.
To honour their craft, we follow a deliberate, made-to-order model. This isn't just how we choose to work — it's a commitment to doing things properly. By avoiding mass production, we give our artisans the time they need to work with precision and care. For us, quality over quantity is non-negotiable, even when it means a slightly longer wait for your piece.
